Yes I'm glad I took this trip. Yes i'm glad the rain made me divert course to Stonewall State park.
The ride tomarrow will be longer. But there will be a roof at the end of it so it won't matter how wet I get. Carrie you do have a clothes dryer right? The gear is working well. 6 years ago I thought the decision to buy expensive warm waterproof Kevlar gloves might have been a bad one. This morning the saved the day. Way to early I pulld off the road cold wet and nearly defeated. I partially gave up an settled for my comfort food (wendys #6). Finding those warm dry gloves in the first place I looked was what gave me the strenth to go on. They changed the day from miserble to enjoyable. Always remember it's the simple expensive things that mike life worth living ;) Stop throwing nuts at me squirl. I'm not going to eat you.

Oddly enough the smell is different here. It's sweet, a lot like pine needles and a little like horses.
